Card Expiry Hour
EntraPass 7.00 has now included a hour value for card expiration date. This means that cards can be configured to expire on a specific hour for a specific date. For more information click here.
Windows 10 compatibility
EntraPass 7.00 is compatible with Windows 10 Enterprise.
Wireless Locks are now supported
EntraPass 7.00 has integrated support for wireless door access. Access is controlled though an ASSA ABLOY Aperio hub which is connected to a Kantech access controller (KT-400/KT-1-PCB model). Each controller supports up to 8 wireless hubs. A VC-485 using a straight RS-232 flat cable is required. Each hub supports up to 8 wireless locks. Wireless locks are controlled through a new licenced door feature. For more information click here.
Licensed door feature added
EntraPass 7.00 includes a licensed door feature which supports the addition of third party lock devices. This feature has been used to enable the wireless doors integration.

EntraPass 7.00 incorporates a number of shortcut keys for quick operations. For more information click here.
Controller Firmware Version
The current firmware version of a controller is now displayed in the controller menu. If the controller has not yet been connected this field will be empty. If the controller if offline the field will display the last known firmware version.
Operator picture display
The operator's picture is now displayed when doing manual operations, database modification and viewing events which involved the operator.
Operator card username search auto complete
In the Users/Card menu you can type a name into the card user name field. When you begin to type an auto-complete will be displayed to help you find existing card user names. For more information click here.
Export error and system logs to CSV file
The operator can now export error and system logs to a CSV file. For more information click here.
Force operator logout and disable operator
A new EntraPass 7.00 feature includes the facility to force another operator to logout through the Status/Logins window. If you want to stop the operator logging back into the system you can also force logout and disable operator. For more information click here.
Redundant Gateway
EntraPass 7.00 includes a redundant gateway feature. The server can be configured to switch to the redundant gateway automatically when connection to the primary gateway is lost. This ensures your system remains operational in the event of a gateway failure. The redundant gateway feature is only available for multi-site gateways. For more information click here.
Windows .NET upgrade
The Active Directory LDAP component which was released in 6.05 requires the .NET framework and upper to work properly. EntraPass 7.00 includes .NET version 4.6.1.
Note: The previous version does not get uninstalled.
AD SDK (Software Development Kit) upgrade
EntraPass 7.00 uses the latest version of AD SDK version 4.8.

EntraPass 7.00 is compatible with Windows 10 Enterprise, you need to install it using Internet Explorer.

Update controller firmware through EntraPass Web
An operator can now upgrade a controllers firmware from EntraPass Web if an upgrade is available. This feature can be enabled through the security level menu. For more information click here.
Local date and time
With EntraPass Web operators can perform manual operation from anywhere in world. When an operator requests a report, performs a manual operation or add/edit/delete users, the operators local date and time is sent to the server which is logged .
Better search filter tool
EntraPass Web now supports searching for a user based on any of the users information fields.
New hardware tooltip
An operator can now view the physical address of each hardware device (controller, door, relay, input)in the hardware setup menu. The physical address is displayed when you hover over a device using your mouse. The location of the tool tip can be configured to be displayed on the left, right or not displayed.
New Report page for iOS
The new report page includes a number of improvements to both the interface and functionality. Generating a report involves four simple steps. The first step is to select a report template from the drop-down list. Next set the date parameters, here you have four different time selectors to choose from. The first three time selectors options are a single click operation for reports within the last hour, the last day and the last 3 days. The custom report option allows you to select specific dates. Additional quick reports are also available.
The final step is to email the report to anyone already in your contacts in either a PDF or Excel format.
